Begin in the city known as the “cradle of democracy” – Athens. Then sail away for some sun and fun in the Greek islands. Explore the islands on your own or take a shore excursion. Rome is one of the world’s most photogenic cities – not surprising when you remember what you will find here– the Vatican, the Coliseum, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, St. Peter’s Square and Spanish Steps. Finish your trip with a visit to Sorrento, offering a charming blend of stunning coastal views, vibrant local culture, and access to nearby treasures like the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, and the island of Capri.

  • DAY 1, FRI

    ATHENS

    Upon arrival in Athens you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

  • Day 2, SAT

    ATHENS

    After breakfast board the motor coach for your morning sightseeing tour of Athens, including a visit to the Acropolis and its museum. Remainder of the day at leisure.

    ATHENS

    Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Spend the day at leisure, shop at the Monastiraki Flea Market, relax at a nearby beach, or take an optional day tour outside of the city.

  • Day 4, MON

    ATHENS / LAVRION / MYKONOS

    After breakfast transfer to Lavrion to board the ship for your 4-night cruise of the Greek Islands and Turkey. Arrive in Mykonos where you may visit the many chic boutiques or find a table on the waterfront and enjoy the serenity.

  • Day 5, TUE

    KUSADASI / PATMOS

    Arrive in Kusadasi and take an excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus. Then, go on to Patmos where you can take an optional excursion to the Monastery and Cave where John the Divine wrote the Book of Revelation.

  • Day 6, WED

    RHODES

    Arrive in Rhodes. Visit the rocky Acropolis of Lindos to see the Temple of Athena and the Citadel of the Knights.

    HERAKLION / SANTORINI

    Arrive in Heraklion, the capital of Crete. Take an optional excursion to the Palace of King Minos at Knossos, the center of the Minoan civilization. Sail on to Santorini, the volcano island, one of the most unforgettable places in the world. Visit the most beautiful village of Oia, perched on the rim of the caldera offering panoramic views of the breathtaking beauty.

    LAVRION / ATHENS / ROME

    Return to Lavrion in the early morning Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Athens airport for your flight to Rome (flight at an additional cost) Upon arrival into Rome, transfer from the airport to your hotel.

  • Day 9, SAT

    ROME

    This morning, reach a designated meeting point to begin your Rome Walking tour. Explore the artistic heart of Rome on a delightful walking tour visiting the city’s iconic landmarks, including Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. In the afternoon, meet your guide at the Vatican and visit Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. The Vatican tour will focus on the must-see masterpieces of the Vatican, such as the Sistine Chapel, the Raphael Rooms, Michelangelo’s Dome, Pinecone Courtyard, St. Peters Basilica, and St. Peter’s Square. Overnight in Rome.

    ROME / SORRENTO

    Transfer to Railway Station and board a comfortable train to Naples. Upon arrival, there will be a transfer to the hotel in Sorrento followed by free time to explore the area. Overnight in Vico Equense or Sorrento.

  • Day 11, MON

    AMALFI COAST

    Today a full day guided visit takes you to the top spots of the Amalfi Coast. You’ll begin your journey with a visit to Positano, the jewel of the coast. Next stop is Ravello, a picturesque village perched high in the hills above Amalfi. The tour continues to Amalfi, a delightful coastal town that was once a powerful Maritime Republic and still retains its charming Medieval atmosphere.

    SORRENTO

    Today is yours to enjoy and discover! Overnight in Vico Equense or Sorrento.

  • A Greece(accommodation)tax of up to 15 euros per person per night is additional and will need to be paid directly to the hotel upon check-out.
  • Prices are per person, based on double occupancy.
