    Upon arrival in Athens, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

    ATHENS

    This morning, enjoy the sites of Athens on your half day city tour. Visits include the impressive Acropolis and its museum, the Panathenaikon Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896, and much more. Spend the afternoon at leisure to explore this fascinating city on your own or join in an optional tour to Cape Sounion.

    ATHENS / PIRAEUS / CRUISE

    Enjoy your morning at leisure. View the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier or take a stroll through the Athens Flea Market, Monastiraki. Early afternoon transfer to the port in Piraeus to board the ship for your Ionian Cruise. Once onboard, enjoy a refreshing drink and forge friendships with your fellow travelers as the ship navigates through the legendary Corinth Canal on its way to the enchanting island of Kefalonia.

    KEFALONIA, GREECE

    Morning arrival into Kefalonia, the largest Ionian island, where we are anchored in a secluded bay for a refreshing morning swim stop. Following lunch onboard, continue to Sami port, a captivating locale renowned as the main setting for the movie “Captain Corelli’s Mandolin”. Afternoon at leisure to explore Melissani Cave, where sublime colors reflect off the lake within, or stroll around the serene Karavomilos Lake.

    ANTIPAXOS / PAXOS

    This morning, arrive at Antipaxos, a gem nestled close to Paxos, renowned for its small size yet grandeur in stunning beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters, and delight in an onboard BBQ. In the afternoon, sail to Paxos, with its picturesque charm and captivating allure. Wander through narrow lanes, explore local boutiques and take in the unique atmosphere. Evening at leisure to enjoy the local cuisine at a charming taverna or experience the island’s vibrant nightlife.

    CORFU

    Today, immerse yourself in the allure of Corfu’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore the island. Delve into layers of Corfu’s past and take in its diverse architecture, beautiful landscapes and vibrant culture. Return to the ship for a Greek Night celebration on board.

    ITHACA / VATHI

    Wake up to the tranquility of Meganisi, a small and picturesque island where you can choose to plunge into the refreshing sea or savor a leisurely breakfast on deck. After a BBQ lunch on board, visit Ithaca, renowned for its connection to Homer’s epic poem, the Odyssey. Take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront or choose one of the typical tavernas that line the waterfront to enjoy an afternoon drink or evening meal of fresh seafood or traditional Greek fare.

    ITHACA / MESSOLONGHI

    This morning we set sail for the mainland town of Messlonghi, a town steeped in history and cultural heritage. Our first adventure is a walking tour into the lagoon, renowned for its biodiversity and a sanctuary for birdwatching. Afterward, wander through the charming old town with its traditional architecture, narrow streets and historic buildings. This evening, dine in one of the local tavernas before we set sail towards the iconic Corinth Canal.

    CORINTH CANAL / AGISTRI/ AEGINA

    This morning we pass through the Corinth Canal, a testament to human ingenuity connecting the Saronic Gulf with the Aegean Sea, before stopping at the small yet enchanting island of Agistri, known for its natural beauty. We then proceed to Aegina, where you will enjoy free time to explore the island or take an optional excursion. This evening we relish a Captian’s Farewell Dinner, celebrating the experiences shared and memories created throughout the cruise, before arriving back to Piraeus. Overnight onboard.

    PIRAEUS / ATHENS

    Enjoy breakfast onboard before being transferred to the Athens airport for your return flight home.
